I purchased this head vase many years ago at an estate sale, it fascinated me, because of it's resemblance to my fraternal grandfather, although as far as I know he didn't keep dried flowers in his head. The ceramic teapot set was made by my daughter, the mirror I picked out of the trash. I call it curb side shopping. I repaired it, and painted it purple and gold. This head has lived at various times in my dining room, with the painting next to it, and in my office, and now the extra bedroom which I painted purple and orange to match the painting and head. What can I say I am attracted to empty headed men!

There was never a more excited child than I when my older sister gave me a one hundred and twenty pack of Crayola crayons. Having received this wondrous gift I was able to put crayon to paper and illustrate the world of my imagination. When I was about ten years old my father bought me a beautiful set of pastels, and I haven�t stopped painting, drawing, or designing since that time. I had been married for about fourteen years and had two children age four, and seven I decided to go back to school, at the ripe old age of thirty-six.
